UT Arlington Women's Basketball Hosts Historic Exhibition Game
The UT Arlington women's basketball team is encouraging fans in the Metroplex to attend a free exhibition game against the New Mexico Lobos on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. CT at the College Park Center. This event is significant as it marks the first time in the program's history that the Lady Mavericks will compete against a Division I opponent in an exhibition match. Fans can obtain their free tickets through the designated link. Last season, both teams had identical records of 18-14, with the Lobos finishing 11-7 in the Mountain West and the Lady Mavs going 10-6 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Lady Mavericks boasted an impressive 12-1 home record at the College Park Center, their best since 2012. With six returning players and seven new additions, the team is poised for a competitive season in the WAC. Season tickets for all 13 home games are available, starting at just $50.
